Highway Work - NY

The L. C. Whitford Co., Inc. (LCW) has a long history of building roads in Western New York. Since the mid-70’s, LCW has performed a variety of work on countless State, County and Town roads. These projects have ranged from simple drainage improvements and shoulder rehabilitation, to major reconstruction of State routes through the center of Towns and Villages. Many of these projects were supplied by two hot-mix-asphalt plants owned and operated by LCW.

LCW’s specialty highway-related projects have included slab repairs, culvert rehabilitations and retaining walls. LCW has rehabilitated thousands of feet of culverts on I-86 and I-390 using conventional relines and Polyester Formed in Place Pipe Liner technology. LCW has also constructed several design/build soldier pile and lagging, tie-back retaining walls on road stabilization projects.
